Booking Conditions
PRICE. Includes everything listed in the brochure, and is based on two people sharing a room and luggage transfers. Child prices are for children 14 years and under. Infants 3 years and under (50% of child price).
INDIVIDUAL travellers a supplement is charged to cover the costs of luggage transfers and accommodation. Please email for details.
CONFIRMATION AND PAYMENT. On receiving your online holiday booking form, we will confirm your booking by email, and will include confirmation of prices, dates, itinerary and an invoice - either for (a) deposit of £50 per person on all holidays or (b) The full holiday cost if you book within 8 weeks of your holiday start date.
TRAVEL REGULATIONS 1992. Your deposit and final balance payment will be held in a trust fund until your holiday is completed. This ensures financial security for your holiday and is to comply with EC Package Travel Regulations 1992.
INSURANCE. We recommend that you are adequately insured for your holiday. We cannot be responsible for your own illness or injury or for damage or loss to your luggage while on holiday. This insurance should also cover the possibility of your having to cancel your trip for whatever reason. We can send you details of recommended insurance policies on request.
LATE BOOKINGS AND ALTERATION. If you book your holiday within eight weeks of your start date, the full holiday cost becomes due at the time of booking. If you wish to alter your booking after it has been confirmed, there will be a fee of £20 per booking. If you want to transfer to another holiday or change your start date - this is regarded as a cancellation.
IF YOU WISH TO CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY. We must receive a written notice of cancellation, signed by the person who made the booking. The following cancellation charges apply from the date of receipt of your letter.
- More than 42 days before the start date - deposit (£50 each)
- Between 42-15 days before the start date - 50% of total cost
- Less that 14 days before the start date - 100% of total cost.
CANCELLATIONS/ALTERATIONS BY WHEELY WONDERFUL CYCLING. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a holiday due to circumstances beyond our control we will make a full refund. We also reserve the right to change our itinerary if the circumstances require it.
BOOKING FROM ABROAD. If you are booking from outside the UK a charge of £20 is made per booking to cover increased postage and communication costs. Group bookings £10 per address. All payments must be made in Sterling. Transfer and currency exchange costs to be borne by the sender. If all communications can be completed by email, there is no charge
GROUP HOLIDAYS. We reserve the right to cancel the holiday & offer you an alternative date if there are not enough people on the tour. Notification of cancellation will be no later than 1 month before your departure date.
SAFETY FIRST. In the interests of safety we will only equip with cycles those customers who are able to satisfy us that they are competent cyclists at the time they receive our bikes and equipment. If for any reason we are not satisfied that a customer is a competent cyclist, we reserve the right not to provide the customer with a bikes and equipment.
BICYCLES AND EQUIPMENT. You are responsible for the care and safekeeping of the bicycle and ancillary equipment. You undertake to cycle prudently and sensibly at all times, and to ensure that the bike is securely locked to an immovable object (in a safe location) when left unattended. All bicycles and equipment must be kept in a securely locked building overnight. You agree indemnify us for any loss or damage arising from any act or default on your part, or on the part of any member of your party.
COMPLAINTS. In the unlikely event of a complaint. Please let us know immediately by telephone. Problems should be rectified there & then. If you remain dissatisfied we must have a written complaint within 28 days of your return home.
