This cycle tour takes you along the water meadows of the River Arrow, and through the picturesque villages of Pembridge, Eardisland and Kingsland. You are surrounded by old fashioned cider orchards, hop fields and quiet country lanes, perfect for cycling. Cider tasting at DunkertonÕs Cider Mill. Lovely gardens at Croft Castle and Berrington Hall (National Trust) to visit on your last day.

Arrive at your accommodation for your first nights stay in Ludlow or the Teme Valley. Ludlow is a medieval fortified town with a magnificent Norman castle. Lots of things to see and do, good inns and restaurants, including two with Michelin stars.

Day 1. Petchfield Farm to Kingsland. Choice of routes 12-27 miles (19-43km). You are fitted out with your bike & equipment. Follow the Lugg & Arrow valleys (one short hilly section) through half-timbered villages, surrounded by hop fields and orchards. Herefordshire is famed for its cider production, every farm has a cider press. See how it all works and try some cider at DunkertonÕs Cider Farm, in Pembridge. May is the time to see the blossom, summer to enjoy the cider and autumn to see it all made.
