Ludlow is a medieval, fortified town dominated by its 900 year old Norman castle. Perched on a cliff above the River Teme, and surrounded by fantastic cycling countryside and woodlands. It is a thriving market town, with daily market and outstanding reputation for good food and has been described by the poet Sir John Betjeman as ”the loveliest town in England” There is plenty to do from guided walks, an outstanding church, swimming pool and assembly room (films and live theatre). During the summer months Ludlow and its castle plays host to many special events including a two week arts festival, and Britain’s best food festivals. Ludlow has an hourly main line train service.

The Mount Guesthouse - Is near the north end of Gravel Hill Road. The best way to approach it is via Station Drive (past Tescos & the railway station) and left at the traffic lights, up Gravel Hill. The Mount Guesthouse is on your left after about 500m. There is off road customer parking in front of the guesthouse.
