Day 1. Petchfield Farm to Clun 

Cycle to Clun, along one of our favourite routes, following the Rivers Teme and Redlake. A wonderful route along idyllic valley lanes past a string of picturesque villages, gradually leading you up through the hills.  Total  20 to 29 miles.

 

Day 2. Bishops Castle & the Kerry Ridgeway

This is a superb route, which really does take you off the beaten track. A Bronze Age track way, ancient fortifications, Offa's Dyke, and fabulous views across Wales to Cader Idris on the Welsh Coast.  Includes 7 miles off road cycling along the Ridgeway.  Total 36 miles (58 km).

 

Day 3. Clun to Petchfield Farm

An easy cycling day, pass by the ruins of Hopton Castle and follow the River Clun downstream. Lunch at a riverside inn, or a unique “parlour pub” unchanged for a 100 years. Total 18 miles (29 km)

White Horse Inn. Frendly, local inn, specialising in excellent local food with its own small brewery.  Rooms are above the pub, so can be noisy on Friday and Saturday night. 

 

Clun Farm. A sixteenth century farm, right in the middle of Clun.  This 500 year old farmhouse has lots of beams, inglenook fires, cosy guest lounge & sunny garden. Quiet location.
